How These People Made Their Goal Weight BY NEW YEARS!

Hey, this is Coach Frank. I’m sporting good posture. What are you sporting? Hey coach, what do you got for us today? Welcome back to another episode of Sporting Good Posture. Coach Frank here, and have I got a tail for you? This last year has been one of the best we’ve had in practice [00:01:00] and also for weight loss.
We did a challenge last year. I talked to my producer in September and I said, Hey, what if we did something before the holidays? What if there was a way to get people to lose weight in inches before the holidays? Well, we made that happen and more, and the people that have done this program this past year have still kept the weight off almost a year later.
So, I was so excited to see that progress through the holidays where they had their goals set and got everything accomplished before New Year’s even happened. Everybody that did the program had 20 or more pounds, lost dozens of inches. It was one of the best things I’ve seen because people were motivated at a time of year when people are typically stressed.
Usually the holidays bring around a lot of stress and a lot of people put their health on the back burner at this time of year, and that’s the worst thing to do. And Halloween is where it starts. It’s the gateway into the holidays, and it’s usually the gateway to your downfall of health. And at the time of year when you [00:02:00] want to be the healthiest, you wanna enjoy the holidays, you wanna enjoy your time with your family and friends is usually the time that people get sick, depressed, start gaining weight and just.
Lose track of their health and really put it on the back burner and just say, I’ll do it in the new year. And when you wait on that, there’s so much more work that has to be done when you wait till January that the people that just said, I’m gonna do it now. I’m gonna do this now and not let this get in the way of my New Years.
I’m gonna get healthy before New Year’s starts. Instead of doing the weight loss goals in January, which. Most people don’t succeed in their, in their weight loss goals for their New Year’s resolutions. Only about 10% of people actually accomplish their New Year’s goals because New Year’s comes with with another set of stresses.
So instead of waiting till the new year, gaining that extra 10 pounds, gaining that extra handful of inches because of holiday eating and just getting [00:03:00] lazy and just putting your health in the back burner, why don’t you attack it now? Attack it now so that you enjoy the holidays, attack it now, so that when you go to those family functions and those holiday parties, that everybody’s gonna be asking you, Hey, what have you been doing?
How are you losing weight? How do you look so good at a time of year when most people have, have really let themselves go? It’s, it is important to do this because when you set those goals up for the time being now, You’re just so much better in your mindset to re, to really benefit from losing weight, losing inches, and being happy during the holidays.
Enjoy your time with your family then, and Thanksgiving and New Year’s. Take control of the holidays where usually they take control of you and take control of your life. If you think about what it takes to accomplish a New Year’s resolution, There’s a lot that really goes into that, and if your goal is to lose weight and get in shape for the new year, just like many other people do, why does it typically [00:04:00] not work?
Why do 90% of people fail? Well, if you think about what you’re trying to accomplish, you’ve just spent the last four or five months eating and sabotaging your body, letting your health go, and in a matter of weeks, you’re expecting you to gain. To gain muscle, to lose weight, to get back in shape. And it’s almost impossible, which is again, why almost only about 10% of people actually accomplish it.
So if you sabotage yourself for the last four or five months and then you’re trying to really go to the gym, do a crash diet, do something that is gonna try to fix that in a few weeks, no wonder why it’s unsuccessful. And no wonder why so many people quit. There’s actually a day in January, so called Ditch your New Year’s Resolutions Day.
Like an unofficial holiday because by three weeks into January, you’re typically quitting your New Year’s goals. You’ve trying to climb a mountain and you don’t know how to do it. That’s why we’ve been so successful with our challenge last year, and we’re doing it again this year to help people [00:05:00] accomplish their goals before New Year’s even happens.
When I thought of this last year, I was just trying to help people not gain weight during the holidays. That was really our main goal at a time of year when. There’s potlucks and there’s, there’s temptation everywhere that you go. And as the month of November and December went on, we were finding people were not only not gaining weight and not only losing weight, but accomplishing their New Year’s goals before New Year’s even happened.
So we were delighted to see that so many people had actually accomplished their New Year’s goals before New Year’s even happened, that I decided that this is something I wanna start doing every year. That. September, October, November. Jump on board with us. Get on board with what we’re doing here, because you can accomplish your goals too.
And it’s the worst thing to do is to wait till New Year’s. That is the worst plan to have when most people are, are trying to do their New Year’s goals. Now is the time to [00:06:00] make that happen. Start on it now. You’ll have a much better percentage of accomplishing your goals, and you’ll also have me in your corner and we’ll be doing the program together.
This is something that. I really am passionate about because I’ve seen so many people make these mistakes, and I really want to help you accomplish your goals before New Year’s even happens. It’s not too late to get on board with us. We want you to be a part of it too. If you got goals that you’re looking to put off for a couple months, I guarantee that you’ll have the success that you want before the the holidays are even over.
Not one person this past year complained about missing out on the holidays or not having good time. In fact, it made their holidays even better. The only problem I found was that people had to come up with some new New Year’s resolutions because they’d already accomplished their main ones before New Year’s even happened.
