Lipo Laser FAQ

Lipo Laser FAQ2018-01-04T12:09:14+00:00

The Lipo-Laser is a 100% Non-invasive, laser-based, spot fat reduction and body contouring system. Offering the relaxation of a 45 minute massage with the benefit of inch loss! Rather than a painful incision, the Lipo-Laser uses laser energy to safely (and painlessly) penetrate the skin and target specific adipose (or fat) cells. It is through this targeted process that the Lipo-Laser is able to in fact stimulate the cell itself into releasing water, free fatty acids, and glycerol. Having released these three compounds, water, free fatty acids, and glycerol (often referred to as Triglycerides), the fat cells shrink significantly, resulting in inch loss for patients!

Nutritional Counseling and Detox

During your Lipo-Laser treatments, we will help you get on track with your eating habits and rid your body of harmful toxins. Toxins are everywhere – in the foods we eat, the air we breathe and the ground we walk on. These toxins build up in our body and may contribute to weight gain, loss of overall energy and poor skin tone, among other detrimental effects. In recent years, more attention has been given to detoxification or cleansing, and for good reason. Contaminants such as air pollution, cigarette smoke, radiation and carbon monoxide found in our everyday environment greatly influence our health and well-being. Furthermore, since the typical American diet is filled with processed foods, which are more often bought at the nearest fast food restaurant rather than made at home, what we eat also adds to our concerns.

Over time, these toxins may affect our health and digestion. In the long term, the ability to absorb the foods and nutrients we consume daily can become diminished. When this happens, individuals no longer receive the full benefit of their daily diet. Every day, a person’s diet should provide essential nutrients to keep that individual performing at peak effectiveness. Proper absorption of nutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals is essential to maintaining a healthy body. When we remove toxic substances from the body and raise the pH, the body systems are better able to come back into balance, and function as nature intended.

In addition to lipo laser treatmentswe recommend patients get adjusted regularly to rid the body of any chronic pain. Studies have shown that conditions such as low back pain, neck pain, tension or migraine headaches, fibromyalgia, and joint pain consistently lead to poor metabolism and obesity. Pain often causes decreased physical activity, leading to weight gain. These conditions often result in decreased health-related quality of life and increased disability. In this regard, inactivity and a sedentary lifestyle can lead to obesity, which contributes to transforming acute pain into chronic pain.

Countless studies show significant links between exercise and weight loss, exercise and decreased pain, and exercise and improvement of depression and anxiety symptoms. What holds people back from tackling their weight and chronic pain problems? Even when their doctor tells them to “just do it,” patients in chronic pain will tell you, “that’s easier said than done.” The heavier and more painful a person gets, the more difficult it is to get motivated to move. It’s counterproductive to move body parts that ache, even when movement is key to healing. Getting adjusted regularly will decrease pain symptoms, allowing you to lead a healthier lifestyle and maintain the weight loss attained from the Lipo-Laser treatments.

Our office uses Whole Body Vibration to speed up the weight loss

Whole Body Vibration

The first applications of vibration for the improvement of human performance were developed in ancient Greece. As a therapy, the whole body vibration (sometimes abbreviated as WBV) was explored by Russian Scientists who tested vibration on astronauts in an effort to decrease the loss of muscle and bone mass in space. Recently whole body vibration platform have been popularized and in home gyms as one of the hottest new trends in exercise.

Because more muscle fibers are activated under the influence of vibration than in normal conscious muscle contractions, the muscles are incited more efficiently. The immediate effect of WBV is that the muscles can be used quickly and efficiently, rendering them capable of producing more force. Another immediate effect of WBV is an improvement of circulation. The rapid contraction and relaxation of the muscles at 20 to 50 times per second basically works as a pump on the blood vessels and lymphatic vessels, increasing the speed of the blood flow through the body. Patients experience this as a temporary tingling, prickling, or warm sensation in the skin. This increased circulation by WBV provides immediate cleansing of fat cells from the lymphatic system, making the fat loss more permanent.

Is Lipo Laser Safe?

Yes, Lipolaser treatments are completely non-invasive and clients feel nothing. Lipolaser’s low level laser technology has been studied and used for over 30 years for many biomedical purposes. FDA approved for pain and inflammation, doctors can use it for fat loss.

How does it work?

Laser light causes the fat cells to open up, and release the water, glycerol and free fatty acids, just like when you exercise.

Do I have to do other things to lose the fat?

Only for bigger results – 3 inches without changes, 6 inches or more with major lifestyle changes – we have support if you choose to change your life while doing the sessions.

What do you do to keep it off?

Normal things you need to keep weight off – diet and exercise, drinking water, etc.

Where does the fat go?

That fat can be burned as energy in the body, or normal metabolic processing – just like when you exercise and release fat.

How quickly will I see results?

Many clients see measurable results after their first session.

What kind of results are produced?

3.5 – 7 inches AVERAGE. People who make minor lifestyle changes, are on the higher end of the average, and those who don’t, the lower end.

How many times do I need it?

12 sessions takes an average of 3.5 – 7 inches off in the midsection, 2 inches off in the thighs – how much do you want to lose?

What is involved?

12 sessions– 3 sessions a week, for 4 weeks, 45 minutes per session. You relax in a comfortable position while a trained Lipo-Laser technician places 4 multi-laser paddles over the target areas and two smaller paddles over the lymph nodes. Then lay back, relax, read, or whatever you like during your session.
