Welcome to my special holiday eating episode of Sporting Good Posture. And be excited because you’re about to find out how to ring in the new year healthy and fit and not just wish it on midnight on New Year’s Eve. What are the secrets to getting around holiday eating?

Well, there are fewer of them than you might think, not as complicated as they seem they should be. Most people throw caution to the wind, come on Halloween and start eating holiday goodies until the end of the year. These same people make new year’s resolutions, join gyms, do crash diets, and quit—all of it just a few weeks into the new year. Sound familiar?

I want to tell you about what I’ve worked on with my patients on the wellness, fitness, and weight loss they’re sporting and how we found out how you can go into the holidays already losing unwanted fat and inches, maintaining an ideal weight and health. And you can come out the other end of New Year’s Day, resolving to do even better with no giving up. That’s not my story. It’s the story of a bunch I’ve worked with. And I’m about to tell you their stories and clue you in on their secrets just after this quick message.

Hey Jeremy. Wow! Pumping that iron, getting bought for summer. Hey Hayley. Wow! You look amazing. I guess the gym is working out pretty well for you. I wish it were for me. Trying to lose some weight, but no matter what I do, I can’t seem to take it off. Oh, I’ve been there. I’ve tried many diets and routines and couldn’t take the weight off. No matter what I did, it was depressing. You did something right. What’s your secret? My chiropractor. Your chiropractor? I was so surprised, but it worked. He was doing something called the ChiroThin Program.

The ChiroThin program is designed like no other, supervised by licensed doctors of chiropractic. ChiroThin is based on your body’s natural structure. Following mother nature’s blueprint. ChiroThin understands why people have difficulty losing weight and puts you on the road to your ideal body. And that means the ideal you.

Hey, Jeremy, you look pretty buff. Did you check out the ChiroThin program? Hey Hayley. Thanks for turning me onto it, from my girlfriend and mom too. We all had a breakthrough. I can’t believe we finally lost the weight. Well, it looks like my loss was your gain.

Losing weight is a challenge. Get evaluated today for free to see if you are fit for the ChiroThin program at an excellent health and wellness center. Don’t just get them; Get ChiroThin. Call (615) 567-6683.

So I want you to hear something from one of my patients. Check it out. And when I come in, I’ll have them. I lost six and a half inches on my first visit. This is my second visit. This morning, I was down eight pounds and had been stuck in the same way for months. So I’m just really, really excited. And I recommend this gentleman to anybody. I really would. He has helped me past a block that I couldn’t get past. And he’s very understanding. I came in with a lousy self-esteem problem. And my same seems to be improving because I didn’t get the house where I was stuck.

Now, let me tell you how she did it. And all we changed. We were able to find the things that were causing her body to gain weight and figure out why her fat cells wouldn’t open. Even with the diet and exercise, she was doing. Every person is different, so we always do a workup and figure out exactly why your specific reasons are happening for you—not being able to lose weight and inches. You have the individual internal and environmental factors we need to address to start on your way to getting this kind of result. Now, these are things you’ll be able to look at for yourself.

Of course, I’ll be able to take a little time and evaluate their significance with you, but you’ll have to be able to communicate them to me to do that. Let me give you some advice on what to look for and spot. Do you have environmental factors, mainly stress? You have physical stress, chemical stress, and emotional stress. You’re dealing with work, the commute to work, your boss, the mattress that you’re sleeping on each night, you have physical challenges in your environment, and toxic people in your life. Not to mention the holidays coming up. It’s stressful buying gifts and getting everybody to gather. So, these things can stand in the way of losing weight and causing your body to retain fat.

Next, let’s talk about food and your choices of what you eat, how you eat, and how much of it to think of some of the vices you have. Some of the cravings you get permanently derail any program you’re doing. Sweets, salty foods, or even alcohol can derail something. With the holidays here, many people are bringing in baked goods and doing potluck lunches and things like that. And that can derail what you’re doing. And a lot of times, you’re just trying to figure out how to navigate through them so that you don’t succumb to the cravings that you’re having. And then, go into the new year 10 pounds heavier than you were because you gained a bunch more weight between Halloween and New Year’s. Now, this next part is going to require a mirror.

This final part, which most people don’t know, is a very revealing symptom of why people have problems in this area. Your posture is what tells the real story, and it reveals the imbalance in the body that is causing malfunction. An easy way to see if there’s a structure Imbalance is by looking in the mirror. You can tell if your shoulders are on level, if your head’s tilting to the side, if your knees turn in, if your feet turn in, or if you have a high hip on one side.

All these things you can look at in the mirror and know that whenever things are out of position like that, it’s a whole chain reaction. So not only does it cause pain and imbalance, but then also affects the nerve function in your body. It affects your ability to sleep, walk, stand, and exercise. It also affects the nerves going to the organs in your body, which can make them not function as well as they should. So taking into account everything I just said, what did you find? What does your environment look like? How about your habits and your food? How about your posture? Did you find imbalances?

Don’t worry. Most people do. I have myself, but now you’re ahead of them because, unlike them, you know about it, which sets you up to change it. My ChiroThin Program in the office is getting excellent results with people who haven’t had much success or have had a rollercoaster on weight loss in the past.

ChiroThin combines a particular way of eating with some specific supplements. Combining the two allows your fat cells to start opening. So you lose weight and inches. The cool thing about ChiroThin, especially when combined with my light bulb laser technology, always starts with super-accurate assessments, and I don’t charge for them. No one should have to pay to know, as far as I’m concerned.

So that’s about it for today. I’ll bet you’re a little brighter on the subject, but I probably left you wondering. Hey coach, that’s great, but what do I do now? That’s a good question. And I’m glad you asked. You heard what one of my patients said to me, and actually, that’s something I’ve heard from quite a few of them.

What I didn’t say earlier is that the real success came from our co-investigation of each person’s posture, environment, habits, and everything combined. These allowed us to trace down their specific brand of weight gain. And we could attack the exact thing that made them lose weight. Again, each individual has a very separate, unique set of circumstances that must be addressed right. So their success started with self-evaluation. And you know what else? It didn’t cost them a thing to find their ‘why’ and to find out my exact findings and recommendations.

These aren’t just any old generic; one size fits all recommendations you get from a book, a friend, or a trainer off the internet. These are customized to their unique situation and the exact reasons why they gain weight in the first place. And I’m offering that to you right now.

All you have to do is take notes on what you just did. Go ahead and rewind this and replay it. If you have to, pause it as you go and make outstanding notes. The more observant and detailed you are, the better job you can do to get to the bottom of it. I don’t care if you give me ten pages; the more details, the better the result we can get. Note what you find. You can also take pictures of yourself and assess them that way too. I always recommend the mirror method first, though. So use a full-length mirror.

If you have it available after you get it all noted, do one more thing. Call me as the very next thing you do. This next part is totally up to me and my many years of specialized training, which 90% involves assessing the ‘why’ for all of it. Don’t forget that there are no cookie-cutter solutions because every person has a mixed bag of experiences, habits, training, injuries, traumas, et cetera. That is why watching YouTube isn’t recommended for any changes you intend to make. Call me and schedule an assessment. (615) 567-6683. Sporting Good Posture means sporting a healthy weight. Do you see the relationship between the two?

I want to volunteer my time to help you find out why. So what do you say? You volunteer a little of yours to take me up on giving you my findings and some recommendations.
